Public transport

Transit is very needed and beneficial, too bad this one is currently owned by a private company and not the city. The city owning transit would be best for the community and everyone in the Greater Kelowna area. Regardless, the staff here is overall great, its a really thankless and rough job. Im greatful for all of these people.

Worst Transit System in BC. Why even have a time schedule if it is never followed. Buses never have air conditioning. The bus drivers will go right past stops, brake so hard people fall out of their seats, and change their bus numbers without telling the people inside. I've had buses take twice as long using this service then it would have been to walk. Not to mention, their phone help line is so quiet that the speaker on my phone cuts it out. Purposefully makes long confusing menus that you have to listen on speaker phone with maximum volume to hear. Absolutely disgraceful, and with no signs of changing.

Absolutely terrible. I am constantly left waiting because buses are either late or fail to come at all. Last week I was almost hit by a driver due to the fact that he only stopped for 2 seconds before driving away, despite the fact that I was standing beside his door with my bus pass out. I tried to lodge a complaint and received a BS reply which led to absolutely nothing. I don't know why I am surprised. I have never received results from placing a complaint before. Some of the drivers are nice, but the majority of all employees do the absolute least they possibly can to be helpful or provide a decent service.

Buses are dirty and often late, some routes are always late. Air conditioning often doesn't work and the routes don't leave often enough. Many bus drivers are rude and argumentative even about opinions. Some of the drivers don't drive safely and often push people on crosswalks or cut them off. Bus passes are far to expensive compared to Vancouver especially for such poor service. BC transit in kelowna is disgraceful and needs to change.

Schedule for the north side of town isn't the greatest in the summer. Service is alright during the school year. Bus drivers are hit and miss on friendliness. The 97 to Westbank gets REALLY crowded and at night I have personally watched people selling/using drugs. I witnessed a man share a bag of cocaine with others and selling marijuana by the joint. Driver says nothing.In town isn't as unsavory for passengers and drivers are a little nicer. The first complaint I reported was answered however every attempt I have made to reach out and inform the company of shortcomings and complaints have been ignored (including when I was injured and the last bus of the night drove past without stopping. I had to walk an hour on an injured knee to get home). No apology, no recognition of fault, no response at all. I gave it a year to see if service improved or if I was at fault somehow and still have received no contact.The only thing keeping this above 1 star is that SOME drivers are friendly and conscientious of those with disabilities.

Please add more schedules on the weekends. There are so many people that use transit, and the fact that I’ve had busses be 20 minutes late on sundays is proof more hours need to be added. Especially with tourist season. Bus drivers are usually respectful, but leaving early should never be happening. The amount of times I’ve missed a bus because it left 3-2 minutes early is too much.I’ve also been left waiting as a bus drives past me pretty often. This adds so much stress in my life, as I use transit to get to important appointments and work. Also, the app will say when the bus is late, but most times it’s not as late as it says it will be so I miss it by a minute or two.

This is a great service. I use it to connect from home into the nearby town with my bike mounted on the front of the bus.The drivers have a very professional attitude

Using the bus system since going carless. Thought it had improved lol.Mainly use the #10. Twice now between 1400 and 1500 waited close to one hour going to queensway. Tuesday July 5th was a rainy ugle day waiting@ enterprise./spall. This included being splashed by trunks flying by !Three #10 went by heading to mall/rutland then a bus passed not inservice .Finally after an hour wait. ..a totally full bus arrived. Other passengers waited almost an hour at the mall. This included persons in wheelchairs and three mothers with children in strollers.Just to remind you : this is many persons only way to get some where .The remark I hear when question why so late. ...thats 2 scheduled stops. ...Decisions are made in victoria. ..really. ..maybe some planners need to ride the bus.Charlotte on bernard

I avoid having to use our transit at all. Rude drivers allowing drunk disruptive teens to whatever they please. I have been left standing at stop while they drive by me. Frustrating when you have to work. This is largely due to Covid however depends on what driver. Some have an close to empty bus when I’ve been left standing there, others pack you in like sardines forcing you to get off walk or wait. Services extremely limited so if you have a job do not rely on our transit. Also had a bus driver take my sons new pass(for transport to school)rip it up and kick him off. Date matched but it wouldn’t swipe resulting in my son walking from Glenmore to downtown. City Hall kindly replaced it and took the bus information.
